MEN OF THE CLOTH honors the legacy of three Italian master tailors whose passion and dedication is an inspiration to us all. It’s a life-affirming film that illustrates what it means to
find your true calling despite the odds. It’s been an enormous creative endeavor funded in large part by individual patrons who have donated funds because they want to see this independent film get out into the world. We’ve completed editing and have “locked picture” on a 96-minute feature film that I’m really proud of. We are SO CLOSE to finishing this 10-year journey. All that’s left is the “polishing” (the sound mix, color correction and mastering) needed to get the film ready to show at film festivals and screening events this spring. To that end, we launched our
crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds for post-production. The whole reason we’ve gotten this far is because of you and the grass-roots support that you have generously provided since the film’s inception.

The film has received some great press coverage recently:
The Main Line Times,
GQ Eye,
Valet magazine,
Parisian Gentleman,
MR Magazine, and
Beverly in Movieland, which describes crowd-funding as “a more egalitarian form of Renaissance patronage.”I know that you want to see this film get to the finish line. Thank you so much if you’ve already made a contribution. And if you haven’t become a backer, please consider donating any amount to
this campaign. So far, we’ve
received $9,700 in pledges from 106 backers around the world — that’s 48 percent of our $20,000 goal. However, Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing funding platform —
we have to meet our entire funding goal by the end of the day on Friday December 21st. Otherwise, this campaign will not be funded and
we could lose those pledges. I know that many of you are waiting until the end of the campaign to contribute. Please don’t hesitate any longer.

Backers of our campaign can choose special gifts like the MEN OF THE CLOTH DVD, VIP invitations to the film premiere, custom-made trousers by master tailor Nino Corvato and Centofanti Tailors, hand-knit cashmere scarves, and pocket squares from designer Margo Petitti in classic menswear patterns. All contributions are processed thru Amazon, so they’re safe and secure.
If you are unable to make a contribution, please send a personal email to friends and family (or forward this newsletter to them), and post on Facebook and Twitter. I am absolutely confident that we can meet our goal if we all spread the word and make an effort to enlarge our circle of supporters. Here’s the link to the campaign: http://kck.st/RZGT69
Thanks a million for your encouragement and support!
