I know Miley Cyrus is the SEO rage right now (lol!). And perhaps I should be asking what do you get when you cross a big dancing Teddy Bear with an I-don’t-give-a-sh*t teenager morphing into a rebellious adult pop star (A: a class-less, cry-for-help, questionable VMA’s performance?).
But, my question of the day is: What do you get when you cross Canne à Sucre, Fleur d’Oranger, Joie de Vivre and Sensuel? Well, if you’re using the exotic essential oils from Memoire Liquide, selling exclusively in New York City at Henri Bendel’s, you get MY favorite personalized scent!
I can now visit Bendel’s anytime and ask for my card, which will be on file, complete with my signature notes, all prepped and ready for a mix-up.
The perfume label, or as they call themselves a “Bespoke and Reserve Perfumery,” launched in 1984 at Studio BeautyMix at Fred Segal in Santa Monica. The custom-blended fragrances have a cult following, offering over 150 notes for hand-selected fragrance creations. Representatives were on hand at last week’s Elements-Showcase and I was ecstatic when Jamie, who not only was working the show but also stirs up scents at the 5th Avenue-based Bendel’s, offered to hit me with my favorite top notes. And in the cutest little roll-on bottle, too.
So, go ahead. I dare ya. Just try to smell like me. At least I’m not wearing a teddy bear “Teddy” onesie while straddling a big foam finger!
