Hunky, sexy, bright.
Yes, I could be talking about John Bartlett the designer himself.
But right now I’m referring to his Fall 2013 collection for The Bon-Ton Stores that he presented a couple weeks ago. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to make the showroom preview appointment (was working in Red Hook that day), but the gentle John sent me some lovely photos, and – voila! A treat for you here, now, dear reader.
You know I love me a good checked shirt, flannel or not, and John has the flannel button-down all buttoned up. Too, he knows how to rock one in the green that’s poised to be the favorite hue this next season, for both men and women. Ah, kelly. Or Emerald, if you prefer a shirt of a different color.
Here’s another casual look he rolled out — bright, comfy, casual:
John certainly knows his customer base and gives them what they want. And will wear. Check out that great button-down, above. Adorbs, masculine and totally here + now. What strikes me most about his casual sportswear is the cut and fit of the pants. Perfection!
He also hit on some great tailored clothing.
These suits are the perfect foil for your tennies, business-minded but open for style interpretation. The Bon-Ton Stores certainly have a jewel in their midst, and now I am talking about John Bartlett the designer himself.
Are you with the consensus?!
He’s so cool, and right on with what guys want to wear, with just a little extra spark!
