Rugged Freedom at Liberty Fairs AW14 Show

Jach's

Rugged and refined from J.A.C.H.S. Manufacturing Co.

Next autumn/winter (can’t we just get through this one?!), fashionable guys will be sporting all kinds of luxury ruggedness. Still. But with a greater sophistication. If you were a retailer looking for a highly curated, packed with punch menswear trade show, the Liberty Fairs near the Chelsea Piers was the show to hit. The heritage theme was still prevalent, especially in sweater, from shawl collar button-fronts or chunky zippered cowichans to fisherman cable turtlenecks. Bold buffalo plaid and more subdued plaids enlivened outerwear. And the popularity of indigo continued unabated. Of course, denim is a staple for this kind of guy (are you that kind of guy?!) and the best new looks were patched and pieced and worn and distressed. A perfect foil to the dark crisper denim that may be fading away itself.
