Menswear at Capsule

Loving the menswear we caught up with at the Capsule SS14 show that took over Basketball City the last several days. Indigo, chambray and denim solids played off adorbs patterns that riffed on vintage prints from Liberty, who also showed their shirt sleeve shirts.

Give me a tote bag anyday – especially the canvas ones at Slow (the Japanese company sells J. Crew), the grey flannel and leather weekenders at Graf and Lantz and the leather heritage-inspired bags at Steven Kenn that are meant to carry handed-down stories through generations of families and loved ones.

I could see myself rocking the In God We Trust bracelets and rings that entwined modern with heritage. Waltzing Mathilda scored with a suede and leather yoga mat carrier. And Maharishi updated camo pants with a dimensional pickstitch outline.
